LEARN

1. How to produce organic inputs including organic fertilizers, effective microbes, organic pesticides, organic biocide (for crop & animal protection) & organic livestock feed.


2. How to rear Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) as a game-changer in organic agriculture for production of low-cost organic livestock feed and organic fertilizer.


3. Fruity vegetables farming (including Tomato, Pepper, Onion, Okra, Cucumber & Watermelon & Melon/Egusi)


4. Leafy vegetables farming (including Ugwu, Tete, Soko, Ewedu & Mushroom).


5. Herb farming (including Stevia, Basil/Efirin, Oregano, Garlic, Ginger & Moringa).


6. Tuber farming (including Sweet potato, Yam & Cassava).


7. Grains farming (including Maize, Rice, Beans & Soybeans).


8. Livestock farming (including Chicken, Fish, Snail, Bee, Goat, Pig, Ram & Cow).


9. Tree crops farming (including dwarf varieties of Plantain, Banana, Pawpaw, Mango, Orange, Soursop, Neem & Oil palm).


10. Farm management & Record keeping.

Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants who complete the learning program.

EARN

1. Register with N10,000 learning fee, log in to access the learning modules and click the WhatsApp link on your dashboard to join the LEAP Group farming community.


2. You will be assigned a slot in a Group farm of 100 slots to collectively farm 10,000 square meters (one hectare) with other participants. However, a participant can have up to 10 slots, with N10,000 payment for every extra slot. 
   
   Work will be done by rotation (one day a month per farmer) while each Group farm will maintain at least two full-time farm workers. 


3. Farm lease, Agronomy fee, and General management is N2,000 monthly per slot. Farm set-up contribution is N10,000 per month (per slot) for the first five months only - all things being equal.
   
   
4. Funds will be contributed to a Group account controlled independently and managed transparently by each Group, within a Cooperative legal framework.
   
   Farmers will receive updates and deliberate on group farm progress through their WhatsApp farm group.


5. Each Group farm will take off with pepper, tomatoes, onion, ugwu, okra, stevia, garlic, oregano, basil, bees and snail farming; and scale-up (with low-cost integration) to include all the 40 crops and livestock featured in the learning modules, subject to local agroecology.


6. Profit share will start in the 6th month and is projected to increase to over N100,000 monthly on average per slot within two years. Other terms and guidelines are stated in the Group farming agreement.


7. Enjoy first option to buy fresh organic food from your Group farm at 30% below market price.
